Our own interactive gallery, Wonderlab, is the Science Museum Group’s pioneering interactive gallery with current editions at the Science Museum in London and the National Science and Media Museum in Bradford, and a brand new one in development at the National Railway Museum in York.
Wonderlab ignites curiosity and a passion for science. It provides an exciting environment where children, alongside adults, can explore and be inquisitive and inspired.
We can support you to create a wonderful and memorable interactive gallery or experience for your organisation.

Changing temporary displays and exhibitions is key to drawing new audiences as well as keeping existing ones coming back. It also provides the opportunity to engage with communities, align with government agendas, and raise national and international profiles. Our critically acclaimed exhibitions and public programme range from cutting edge contemporary science exhibitions to those exploring the great history of science.
Through our experienced team of curators and researchers we thrive to promote new ways of understanding collections, audiences, and exhibitions.

As a group of five science museums, our diverse expertise enables us to understand how to effectively operate small to large-scale institutions, all with unique and varied collections. Drawing upon this expertise, we are pleased to offer professional training to develop skills for the museum sector and wider STEM professions. These courses are designed and led by our staff, drawing on many years of experience of operating a world-renowned science institution.
We actively inform and inspire the widest possible audience around STEM through the best use of our collections and expertise in learning. Across the Group we have over 600,000 people visiting in educational groups each year, making us the number-one choice for school visits in the UK.
We offer inspirational research-informed science engagement training and resources for teachers, as well as for museum and STEM professionals. Through a committed collaboration project and partnership, we can help you become a hub for STEM excellence. All our courses are underpinned by science capital and wider science engagement academic research and are informed by evidence from over 25 years of our own audience insights and research.
